The THA Compass Program has two main purposes: to meet the THCIC requirements for quarterly claims data collection and to give access to data visualization tools and market share analytics for strategic planning.
The table below shows the high-level benefits for each of the two sections of the program.
Benefit of Submitting Data through THA Compass Program
Our team at THA focuses on providing excellent customer service, helping you maintain compliance with the Texas regulations for quarterly claims reporting. We partner with a data collection vendor to help participating facilities submit data through a secure, web-based tool that is programmed to flag the same errors that would be flagged by THCIC. For your convenience, corrections to errors found in claims data can be made within the data submission portal.
Benefit of Launch Pathway
Once you have built a presentation or market assessment, the data within your software will automatically update once new data is live, making manual updates a thing of the past. For more information about Launch Pathway, view the "What is Launch Pathway" article found in the Basic FAQs section of the knowledge base.
Benefit of THA Dataset
All THA Compass participants have access to the "combined" dataset, which combines the THCIC dataset and the THA dataset. A benefit of the THA dataset is the physician information is not masked (like in the THCIC dataset). Your facility has access to Physician Loyalty within Stratasan, which visualizes physician case volumes, making it possible for business development teams and strategic planners to understand physician service line and hospital patterns.
Benefit of Timeline
We know that time is money when it comes to making strategic decisions for your facility. THA Compass participants will have access to the combined dataset two quarters ahead of the release of the THCIC dataset. The THA dataset is released about 90 days after the close of the quarter. Strategic decisions can be made with more relevant data.
